Adidas Metalbone Reserve EDT
Adidas Metalbone Reserve EDT - Worldwide Exclusive at JustPadel
The Adidas Metalbone Reserve EDT is a padel racket developed for attack minded advanced and professional players chasing maximum power and a very direct response. This model is a limited edition, developed in collaboration with Ale Galán, and fits perfectly with a playing style built around dominance, tempo and finishing.
This edition is exclusively available worldwide through JustPadel. That makes this not only a technically outstanding racket, but also a unique model you can't buy anywhere else. Within the Metalbone line, the Reserve EDT sits above the regular Pro models and is explicitly not an all round or comfortable racket, but a clearly power focused model.
What type of player is this racket suited for
The Adidas Metalbone Reserve EDT is primarily suited to left side players at a high level who want to finish the point with smashes, volleys and aggressive overheads. Players who take the initiative, dominate the net and trust their timing and technique will get the most out of this racket.
This racket can also be used by right side players who play very attacking padel, frequently follow through and actively join in on the finish. For right side players who mainly play a controlling game, play a lot of rallies and look for a margin for error, this racket is not suitable.
Key Features
The diamond shape provides a high positioned sweet spot, giving maximum support on attacking shots. The balance leans clearly towards the top and is reinforced by the Power Extra Grip, providing extra leverage and hitting power on smashes and overheads.
The hitting surface is built from 16K Aluminized carbon and has a hard blade feel. The blade is stiff, direct and has little flex, with a short ball contact time and very direct feedback. This delivers plenty of power and precision on clean contact, but results in a smaller sweet spot and less forgiveness. The blade is clearly harder than on Team or Veron models.
The core consists of EVA Soft Performance, which provides just enough dampening to keep the racket playable without taking away its hard, explosive character. The Spin Blade structure on the face supports extra spin on topspin and slice shots, without softening the direct feel.
Playing Feel and Performance
On court, the Adidas Metalbone Reserve EDT feels hard, explosive and extremely direct. On smashes and volleys the racket delivers maximum speed and impact. In defensive situations and on off centre hits the racket forgives little and demands composure, technique and good positioning.
The Metalbone Reserve EDT is therefore a clear choice for attacking left side players after a hard blade, maximum power and direct response, who consciously choose an exclusive model available worldwide only through JustPadel, within Adidas's top tier range.
